They are bogus, but will probably stand until retired, right?

How long has it been since they stopped adjusting Bristol?

Not too bad NHRA. The new altitude factor just lowered the index for V/SA by an additional .23 at Bandimere, which makes a total of .55 since the end of last season. 17.03 dropped to a 16.48. Glad I won the Division 5 title in `96 when this stuff was more fun. Too much corporate involement and bitching about the drag pak and CJ`s anymore. Have fun everyone.

For years NHRA had different adjustments, one for s/ss and the other for comp, now they are the same as comp. Same as it has been for years.

Think it was 2001; recall there were lots of folks showing up for IHRA races and unable to run the index so they were relieved when Bruton took the track to NHRA in 1998 and they got the adjustment. Of course in the meantime everybody in .90 classes had bigger motors and class racers more consistently ran under their respective index.

What is the point in doing this? .55 missing off of Lanes index in 2 years!!! That's crazy!!!
