I know of at least six racers who will not return to Pittsburgh until they replace or upgrade the timing system. We complained to the "powers-that-be" to no avail last year. They said that they were using an 1/8th mile Junior Dragster "program" in their system and it just could't cope with the Top Sportsman and Top Dragster E.T's being thrown at it. Huh??
In eliminations, we considered the air data, track condition, etc. and dialed our car accordingly..we broke out by a 10th and the time slip was exactly like the second time trial we had run earlier in the day, with conditions drastically better. We have been running our car for thirteen years and can usually dial it to a hundreth, but not when "you can't beat city hall". Pittsburgh is only a couple of hours from our home and is easily the shortest tow for us, but until it's fixed, it might as well be in Ontario, CA.

my car was equally as consistent and I didn't hear of anyone having trouble with the timing this year. My driving wasn't too consistent either Bart.
