Great news I just got my belts back late yesturday. Will they be good for Indy? Do we just change them and be over with it? How long to re-pay everybody if guilty?

There is NO IF GUILTY!!! SFI has finished up their investigation and stated that Impact is using bogus SFI labels.

Impact..now there is a company that does not give a tinker darn about racers safety.

I could be wrong but was it not Impact that SFI busted with pants and jackets that were not made to SFI specs a year or two ago? If so you would think they would be carefull after that mess.

So... in real world terms, how long can a person use the said bogus safety items ? 90 days from today ? or ? ... This should get interesting. I will probably get my refund about the same time Barry Grant pays out on the class action suit.

Didn't he resign as head of Simpson Racing about the time Earnhardt died in the crash at Daytona? Something about his belts cut/broke?

I think they need to take the person or persons responsible for this and let them live and die with their own decision that they forced on unsuspecting racers that trusted them with their safety. Have them strap in their own harnesses and be crash test dummys, until they fail. That would be a good SFI test for the money grubbers.
