Re: Trailer Insurance
I use Bill Horton at Stone Agency. It covers me for everything except going down the track.

Re: Trailer Insurance
I use state farm for my truck and trailer and they have treated me very well. First claim was 3 years ago 44' GN Haulmark Edge loaded with options and got flipped over in a tornado at 29 days old they paid me to tow it back to Bristol so Haulmark could say for sure that it would be cheaper build me a new one than fix it. I paid 23 dollars for insurance that month and it cost them 30K and my rates have not changed a bit. About 7 weeks ago a drunk driver decided to cross the median and hit me head on I was in my toter hauling some horses for my dads girlfriend. Totaled the toter, horse trailer and the horses did not make it. His insurance co was trying to be a pain in my ***. I made a call to my agent and told him what was going on he said thats what you pay me for now thier legal team is handling it for me and doing a very good job of it too. State farm gets my vote.

Just to be safe, I also have race car insurance so if anything happens while the car is parked overnight, in the pits, etc, good to go. PM me if you want specifics. Eric |
Re: Trailer Insurance
When i bought my first enclosed trailer in 1994 my agent added comprehensive coverage(fire and theft) for me. when I got the bill I questioned it (less than 50 for a year) and decided to keep the coverage. 11 years later and now a more expensive trailer (gold rush26 ft) , a tree in my yard falls on the trailer. 7 grand damage,(needs roof etc) they pay up and i drop it off at gold rush after the dutch, man was i happy, trailer is back to new.
I don't have coverage on my race cars In the case of a moving accident with trailer, in massachusetts the insurance from the towing vehicle covers the loss to someone elses vehicle, and liability, but not the trailer Dave |
