rj,

No-heads -up during the championships for Moser,Summit, and year end Tournament of
Champions at Rockingham next month... All races during the regular season are heads-up....( Div. + Nats.)

Dave, that's a good decision. This way someone with mega bucks and or connections can't borrow a stupid fast car for the runoff. The alternative is that everyone must bring the car they regularly drive. But then again $$$ and connections comes into play.

Hey Paul,

The weather changed a bunch, we had -100' on Friday morning and the track was hooking hard. The SS cars were launching with all 4 wheels off the ground, more than one oil pan took a hit. But Sunday the IHRA officials decided to run all the pro stuff down to the finals before the first round of the Sportsman eliminations. Would have been nice if they told us they were going to do that. But no, nobody had a clue what was going on and who was going to be called next. So stock first round was at 5 pm on Sunday! The weather was now between 2000'-2500'. The big question was why so many red lights. Half the first round was red including me. But they got it done and congrats to the winners in some very difficult racing conditions.

Maybe we'll see you at the Dutch,
George

Hi Denny, yea I figured it was you. I haven't raced in 5 years although it feels like much less. I could take the car out as is but I was hoping to finish my Challenger someday soon. Both cars and both motorcycles are stuffed in an 18' x 18' garage with no room for anything. I plan on getting a well used enclosed trailer to store the Sport Fury so I can have room to work. The money I spend getting the Fury ready would be better spent on the trailer right now. Other than that just been busy managing a building supply store and playing in three different bands plus doing sound and PA for outdoor festivals. You need to get that bad *** Fairlane back together. Talk to Jeff Lawrence, he can make it go fast and live. Send me a PM if there's anything I can help you with. I'll be at the Dutch hanging out either Friday or Sat depending on the weather.

Hi George, I'll see you there, bring some of that minus NE weather with you, Paul.
