She still does know a lot about this for a "Girl". And I didn't mean anything derogatory with the word Girl.

Ah, thanks, Ed! As I've been drag racing with my Dad since I was 1 year old I hope I know a lot about this stuff (and, no, I won't say how many years that has been!) ;-)

1 year old... and the Chrysler Hemi was already invented by then so at least 1951... :)

remember a few years back B.Hess was D.Q d after he won a challenge race for alterd butterfly screws on carbs,no perf. gain just not original holley, if i remember correctly,

If I remember correctly he had ground the screw heads flush with the butterflys and they wouldn't let that pass.
