Re: UPDATE - New Schedule for Lucas Oil Event - MEMPHIS

Looking at our Schedule Options for this Spring; This Weekend was the only open option. With the 2-Day program last summer; we all agreed that 2-Day was the best option. The Friday Test -N- Tune is optional; Parking for the Event starts Friday 8am; Tech Open Friday 12 NOON until 6 PM.

Parking on Friday you must purchase your Racer Entry Ticket & Weekend Crew Tickets; You DO NOT

Have to Pay for the Test -N- Tune ($50.00) in order to Park Friday. Pay for TNT ONLY if you Test.

Any questions please feel free to call my cell phone: 901-461-2515 Steve Quien.

Looking forward to a Great Weekend of Sportsman Racing here at MMP. Thanks for your Support!

Steve, thanks for your efferts to help us out, but I don't think it right to take a traditional 3 day race then change it to a 2 day race then say to us, you can make runs on three days but it will be an extra money.

First take a day away then kinda give it back at extra money.

Same idea as NHRA changing a National event from 4 day's to a 3 day race and giving us a really good deal at the same entry fee.

That will save Div 4 a day's worth of hotels, food and expenses for workers.
Guess our entry fee is still the same?

Why does it cost the same entry, crew, and spectator admission at a NHRA divisional for a two day race as a three day race?
Why does it cost the same money when they do not have alky cars?
As I understand it the alky cars get in for free and are guaranteed money so why isn't the rest of the sportsman fees less?
Just wondering.
