Todd, with all due respect, may I humbly suggest that you consider knocking-off a couple of liquor stores instead of a bank. Banks mean the FBI gets involved, Federal pen instead of state prison, etc. Just too much hassle man! :) And besides financial institutions are just in a state of turmoil. You'll probably(or prolly as Pogo and some on here would say) have a bigger score with the liquor stores anyway!LOL

Could somebody please explain to a dumb-*** like me, exactly how do ya' put those little 'faces' wherever ya' want 'em? I'm lucky to find the 'on' switch.

Ken,

You are correct. A college professor I once had told us that federal prison is the way to go versus a state prison. He said you can probably play tennis or whatever while serving your time. Houston seems to have a bunch of liquor stores but here, where I live, there is a bank on every corner. Either way, I think I will leave the robbing to someone else and just spend the kid's college fund.

Before I moved to the midwest I was a mechanic for a local police department. We had a bunch of bank robberies in a short period of time. After the guy got caught the lead detective told me if you only rob one bank and do a good job of it you have a good chance of getting away with it. Appearently its when you get greedy you get caught as they get a little more info on you each time you do it. If anybody wants to try this theory out let me know how it goes I dont think my balls will ever be big enoughf LOL!

No matter what brand of trailer you buy just make sure it has at least 6000lb axles and 16 inch wheels and tires. The trailers with 15 inch wheels and tires will give you problems if you do any long distance towing. I had that set up on my trailer and blew lots of tires. There are no good 15 inch tires available for trailers that will hold up.

Glad this is something I didn't have to learn the hard way. You and another racer made this recommendation concerning the axles and tires. Thanks again to all that responded.

Classic has a great triple axel trailer, 30 foot long that is priced right. The wheels and tires are 15 inch but the weight is distributed well and tire failures will be kept at a minimum.

I agree about the 16" tires and wheels. ALL ST- trailer tires are Made in China now and I don't care what brand you buy, if they are 15"ers they will likely blowout sometime down the road. I have a Classic that I purchased used. It is a very nice trailer and tows great. Titan load range E tires were on it. I thought they were better than the others and made in the USA.....NOT true. I blew one out in June.......and the tires are Made in China and say so right on the bead. Trailer is not overloaded, tires were properly inflated and it was a cool evening ride home so heat is also not much of an issue. 15" ST trailer tires are notorious for blowing out. 16" Wheels and LT tires are a much better option. If you do buy a Classic....ask about what they are doing to undercoat the frame. Mine is a 2002 and has rusted quite a bit under there......I haul a dragster now in a 26' Terminator.......I have 2 good friends that also own Classics and they have had zero problems and are happy with them. They bought theirs new.......

We purchased ours in 1998 and still towing it. We have a dominator 48ft triaxle and yes the bigger wheels and tires. We have hauled 2 cars for almost 10 years now. One suggestion make sure you get the hydraulic legs believe me it's a lifesaver. We used Boyd Beyer, he will work with you, get you what you want, he makes sure you are happy with it and he follows up. He is at Indy this week. The aluminum trailers tow great. Now if they could just come with something to help clean that monster of a trailer it would sell even better. This ole girl has had plenty of experience trying to keep it clean.

I have lost count as to all the positives that have been posted concerning these trailers. Haven't really heard anything negative about them. This has made my mind up concerning Classic Trailers.

REALLY hate to tell all of you but I lost out on getting this trailer Tuesday afternoon. Guess if it were meant to be it would have happened. In reseraching these trailers, I learned that there is a dealer here in Texas.
