Can you confirm what it is today ? Is it 1.40 under at Sea Level and what about factored tracks ? How does it effect AHFS at factored tracks ? What is it at Nationals & Div /Opens ? Racers would like to know what Triggers the AHFS.......... Thanks in advance, Dave

Rich wants to know what the ahfs deal is today.

Tell us about the proposed changes. I'm sure many racers want to know about these changes before they are implemented. Aren't you guys supposed to be keeping the racers in the loop?

I guess no-one has any answers to these simple questions on how the system works ? Why is this so secret, hopefully our reps will get a set of rules on how, when and where the AHFS
works /counts ??? We all seem to be in the dark .............. thanks, Dave

There is a Division web site that has contact info for the Tech Dept. I emailed the Div. 3 Tech dept and got a response back right away. Doesn't mean something won't change, but it might be helpful to ask the tech person from your Division to get an official and current response.

I also asked Jay and at divisional and National Open races only runs of
-1.40 or more are looked at. Again, -1.15 at national events are looked
at. It is also stated the same in our NHRA policy and procedure guide.

Correct me if I'm wrong here---BUT, all runs (Opens, Divisionals, and Nationals) count towards your class/combo AVERAGE though??????

Again: when is the ahfs triggered at a divisional?

1. -1.40 under at SEA LEVEL tracks only?

2. -1.40 under corrected to sea level at FACTORED tracks?

3. -1.40 under SEA LEVEL Index period with no correcting?
