Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
I “heard” that they ran out of the correct hoods one day and the only thing they had left were some pro stock hoods from the Motown Missle and shipped the cars with those hoods. Just some I heard, or dreamed, I’ll check!

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
I've been working on installing a CO2 fire suppression system in the hood.
The nozzles will be assigned to cool each intake runner. Just before pulling into the water hit the button, let the "smoke" clear. In and out of the water box, pull to the line with incoming air temp of less then 40* F. I don't think NHRA will like it........at all. If you dream up stuff like this in your sleep, you and I need professional help! LOL I need to check General Regulations to see if it's legal. |
Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Bret I think the '14 302 NA CJ will be in a class above me. It is the small 392 not the 426

Larry, you are doing a great job on this build. I can't wait to see what numbers it will run. Good luck.

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Frustration, I think I have everything in a pile to finish the engine and the car but not so. And so it goes......
