Ed, as it was mentioned in an earlier post, there is not a transformational fossil record. Either one creation or another, nothing in between. Not anywhere. Think about it, if there were transitional fossils, we would have thousands of examples. Lucy was one or the other. We were all taught to believe in evolution, beginning in grade school.
I`m glad this post remains a gentlemans discussion.
Thank you

Very Interesting thread guys. There's a couple BILLION stars with planets rotating around them up there. Hard to even comprehend. I just gotta believe somebody started all this stuff.

Mike, I beg to differ with you, look up the five stages of human evolution. You see the fossils have been found for all 5 of them.

Thank you Ed.
I looked it up on a few sites.
Very nice presentation, although not not all agree with their assertion.

Re: The Fall f the United States, The End

Invariably when threads migrate to "Does God Exist?" both sides of the question do not change anyone's position on the subject. Of course that's true of any given position and that's why I typically don't engage in the usual forum/FB banter. This one question is unique though in that's it the most important question that anyone will ever answer. When Abraham entered into a covenantal relationship with God he did so by taking a leap of faith. That faith was counted to him as righteousness. Sometimes people must simply take that leap and see what it yields. Understanding the Word of God and recognizing Jesus as the personification of that Word must seem a daunting challenge but it's one taken on every day by literally thousands of people. The esteemed writer C.S. Lewis did it so eloquently and I would recommend his "Mere Christianity" or listen to the many audio offerings on his thoughts. It would prepare you for reading God's Word and paying particular attention to what the greatest theologian of all time has written, that being the Apostle Paul. If someone was to take up such a challenge they might indeed discover who they REALLY are and what God has designed for them. It just might lead them to a legacy and a lifetime that has no end. God is Love, full of Grace.

Greg, When it comes to ethics and morality, we are definitely moving in the wrong direction.

Whatever the reason, those that could walk on two feet were surviving more often. Lucy, the upright ape that was discovered in 1974. Wow-ee!! That's exciting!! Did she have any sisters?

Greg, You're married, shame on you! There are some interesting theories on how Lucy died, based on the damage to her bones. She might have died from a fall out of a tree. Just shows you once you evolve out of tree climbing you can never go back.

That actually would be an improvement for some people. I've met a few that couldn't fall out of a tree.
