That is pretty good for a guy from New York. Was that the same buffet that the 396 was attending? Must have been the dessert.

That's funny! Unless you have an LT1! On a side note, only 3 LT1 cars qualified last year out of about 9 or 10 total. The fastest qualified was -.92, and after a 12hp hit I'm pretty sure that will make it very difficult to get in.

I know I'm not an Indy runner like all of you but thank you for the "moment of silence" james and I wish I had the availability to go and try to see if I could qualify regardless of the new HP! So it shouldn't scare people away from going, just work harder on your *****!

Re: Indy

Now Bubba, I will inform you of the 'Not Attending Indy' rule from some years back. I don't think it has been changed, but other rule changes in Stock and Super Stock have changed the meaning and effect of the 'Not Attending Indy' rule. Basically it says you must not be able to qualify with at least two combinations that have been factored out, ruled out, or somehow out; but you have to try at least three years after said factoring or ruling before you can not attend Indy. And there are multiple examples available, none of which are important now, but if you don't qualify for the exemption, you are supposed to be on the list that has shrunk from 193 to 192. You can thank me later.

Mr. Jeff, more dropping out of stock. You have to stop scaring these folks!

Jeff isn't a scary guy. After 6 years of effort, Mopar has only 9 new Challengers entered. Half are probably Louisiana cars. Selling a few more would help boost the count.

I will be withdrawing also. My father suffered a stroke last week and we have been in Waco since. Hope everyone has a good race. Mike McMahan 2543 H/SA
