I agree with Bret. To get all those sportsman racers completed was a great job on the part of the organization and the racers.

We're quick to dump on nhra when they do something wrong, they deserve credit when they get it right.

Thanks to Ken, Also!

The air was about 450 ft above sea level when I ran. I went a 9.83 @ 134. I can not give exact numbers for others, except Fezel. In A/S, in his CJ, he went 9.63, that's 1.32 under, HP Monday morning. Downing went a 9.92 in AA, I think, Grace Howell, also in AA, went 9.83 or 9.84. Evan Smith went a 10.99. I wish I had more numbers for everyone. Fezel, number one Smith number 2. The track was good, but not as fast as I though it should be. The baro was only 29.65, there was very little wind today.

We'll now just wait until the pros are done before first round, they announced they will try to run everything today and into the night as long as the track is safe.

Fezell was in AA, he was #2, Evan Smith was #1; Fezell was .97 under the 10.60 AA index, no HP Monday morning. The Stock CJs got 14 HP last year which makes the Coupe factor 7.38 which means the Coupes can only run in AA. The convertible factor is 7.57 which makes them "natural" AA cars, so they can move down to A. The only 2008 CJ convertible that I am aware of is Jimmy Ronzello's.

The weather is great, sunny and about 60 right now, going up to 73. The weather looks good for the most part with a slight chance of rain on Wednesday and Saturday according to the local weather.

I have been inside the track and all looks to be in order, the facility looks great. I guess the weather has been good down here except for the cold. The sportsman parking looks good, dry, solid and groomed.

We are supposed to be parked tomorrow morning. Last year they parked us with no issues, lets hope for the same.

Ken,

Thanks for all the info during the Gators. Are you coming to Charlotte in two weeks? Would like to meet you and also make sure I get some leaving the line pictures for you.
