Welcome back Woodrow. Glad to see you're tough enough to have made it through that as well as your recent issues. I've gone to Gainesville since the late '70's and never looked past the end of the track.

Damn. If I had known Ed was going to be there I would have shown up just to meet him in person.

Maybe another time.

Hey Dan Moore, you're #1. :D

Woodro, I was there when you went through the net and over that big berm, seeing what happened made my decision to put a chute on my car a priority just for that OH CRAP situation

7:43 AM, they called us to the lanes. Weather conditions, Temp 48, Humidity 66%, BAR, 29.62, DA 80 Feet above sea level. Very little wind, tail if any.

Be back after the run....

Stock and Super Stock finally got to run, Super Comp is running now, followed by Super Gas.

The air was about 450 ft above sea level when I ran. I went a 9.83 @ 134. I can not give exact numbers for others, except Fezel. In A/S, in his CJ, he went 9.63, that's 1.32 under, HP Monday morning. Downing went a 9.92 in AA, I think, Grace Howell, also in AA, went 9.83 or 9.84. Evan Smith went a 10.99. I wish I had more numbers for everyone. Fezel, number one Smith number 2. The track was good, but not as fast as I though it should be. The baro was only 29.65, there was very little wind today.

We'll now just wait until the pros are done before first round, they announced they will try to run everything today and into the night as long as the track is safe.

Looking at the ladder - here's a great "young gun" match -- heads-up -- Joe Santangelo Jr. vs Jimmy Hildago Jr. in C/SA -- and my friend Steve Szupka J/SA gets to take on "Big Daddy" Don Garlits A/SA in round one .............pressure is on Steve ! ! BTW , Steve won his first round match-up in Comp .
