Re: How the factory "Package" cars may save Stock
It should be interesting in the up coming months to see what NHRA will do about factoring the new Ford and Mopar factory cars. For now its all speculation and anticipation. The Cobra Jet of John Force/Robert Hight is complete. Both their names are on the glass and of course, John gets top billing. Anyone think that if John drives the car he's gonna take his foot off the rug? Not me and I can hear the TV interview already about how his hotrod factory Mustang just whooped the competition..... yada, yada, yada in the John Force way. This could be a good thing. At least maybe S and or SS will get some free press? Maybe with top name drivers like Gartlis, Jeg's, Johnson, John's, Force and a few others, the class will get some prime time.

Is that you and yours ?!?
How old ? Awesome, no lifting, sharp RT...== FUN and Profit....good for you.... My dad liked someones comment about records, he said maybe a 3rd plan should be nothing BUT records, and see if we can set a record setting records...lol Anyone know what that IS in Stock by the way ? Car/Driver in a single season ? Nitro Joe ? (BTW How do I subscribe to your stats ?) Quote:

Am I the only one who thinks the replys are way to long? LOL:p
Personally I think that they should have had a Chevy (if they would get off there butts and build a factory race car) Ford and Dodge Factory Stock shootout .Get some big corperation to sponsor it and run it like top stock at B weight or somthing. Personally I dont think that the CJ's are running at full potential and we will only see a full pass with all the steam when someone gets cocky or mad. The CJ's will be the first to go in the 8's if it hasn't been done already. My 2 cents. |

Whoa, The Max Wedge cars and the 65 A990 cars came without warranty's but were completely street worthy and many Max Wedge cars (like mine) were street driven a lot. They all came with complete street equipment and would pass NJ road inspection If you use a warranty as a measuring stick then every used car in the US is a race car! JImR |

Is the new Challenger the first/only "stocker" to have an single plane manifold?

Re: How the factory "Package" cars may save Stock
Do the factory race cars have anything in them that a racer can't put in a regular production Mustang or Challenger and not draw all the hate and discontent? What I'm saying is can't you duplicate one at home in your shop?
