Your done after you ck the crank for straitness. You might already know this, but its crucial with that balancer that all the bob weights are exactly the same distance away from the radius of the rod throws. I use a drill bit for this.

I remember those "OK Used Cars" signs, too. Funny, today just "OK" wouldn't be good enough, and hey, it's "Pre-owned", The world is nuts, but I'm "OK".

Funny how society re-defines words through time.

HP, I'll make some video for you to see when I check it today.

L2L said .003-.0035, I didn't however mention the block was filled.

Here are a couple videos I did today of the cranks being checked. I re-setup and checked these again just so everyone could see since it was mentioned. The videos are a little hard to make out but the first video is the old crank with maybe a tick over .001 runout. The second video is the new crank with under .0005

Lot's more block work to do, started boring today but my time may get a little complicated for a few days, I'll go as much as I can.

I finished a bracket for the rear today (not sure if it will work or not), did a little grinding on the collar for the trans. and finished some real "boring" block work. Had so much fun we may do it again tomorrow. Home watching drag racing YIPPEE!
