Now that Chris is walking with a boot on things are starting to get back to some resemblance of normal. Now it doctors appointments and basketball games. Life is good but I am falling behind at a blistering rate.

That’s a classic Larry, see you and Patsy at Gainesville or BG…

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant

Most of the honey does and got to does are caught up enough to get back to my ignored Dumbo. Im trying to follow what was taught in school. Information rich and sensor poor. I am in process of installing shock sensors on the car, it sounds easy enough, but it seems there is alway a catch. I have to know ride height, full extension of front and rear suspension, full compress distance of front and rear suspension, figure travel and add a fudge factor so as not to destroy the sensors.
While I am doing this I will send the shocks of to be checked. So the first thing to do is four wheel scales. Measure compressed height on shocks. I found a tape measure the reads in .10 of an inch it makes it easier to interpret .050 or .025. Remove coils off of shocks and remove springs. Measure travel. Back to work.

I got the scale information at all four corners and front to rear percentage. Now I have to make those same numbers appear with me not in the driver seat. It?s a good thing I still have a few BBC heads leftover from my short lived 1968 Corvette 427/400 project to put in the seat to replace my weight distribution. Do some measuring and take it apart.

I have saved and saved and saved I will be going to the dyno with 10 O2s and a spare if one folds and stops working.

My guess and it is just a guess it will be at one of the Combo races at Beach Bend. With all the new stuff I hope it will be a smooth transition. Plus Joel is doing his magic on the trans. I still have a lot of balls in the air.

When you get old you have time to solve a make believe problem. So I took the time to check the intake area of the oil filters I use. One has six larger holes the other filter has eight holes that are visible smaller but not small. So after I did the math one filter has aver 14 percent more intake area. Now on to the next mystery
