Getting into bed with you, Ed, is not something I'd ever want to do, even if I WERE on medications.
They don't make one that strong... Hunt for a bed partner somewhere else...

Actually you are supposed to sack out with the cows in the back 40.Maybe you can organise them to demand more ergonomic nipple cups.

Ed,
There's no such word as "organise."

Maybe you should have gone to school in Arkansas...

Are you trying to divert attention away from the part of this discussion you don't understand???

That would be the part about the worse red light system; right????

Try to stay on point.... We might be accused by the original poster of trying to hijack this thread.... (OH NO, MR. BILL!!!!)

I have followed this thread for 11 pages and all the bantering and knashing of teeth. Now you have gone all round the world to something I know about... The phrase "nipple cups" made me laugh harder than all the BS in this thread.. You see I work for a Milking Machine Company and I know something about cows, teats( and yes they are teats on a cow) and milking liners.. So ask your questions and I'll give you an answer.. And you can bet the bank if I don't have the right answer, I"ll give you one anyway... Much like some of the replys here in this thread....:cool::cool:

Send a set to Bill.He needs a diversion from Red Light Mania. That's sort of like a senior citizen version of Mad Cow disease.
For your information Mr Grammer Whiz,my spell check doesn't recognise an error with the spelling.
Doesn't take the fact away that you still have wayyyyy too much time on your hands with this red light crusade.

Well, Ed, you remember that I have posted, that, having it explained to ME, in detail, by the guy who thought it up, it took me at least a couple of months (maybe more) to "get it" regarding just how this current system (FIRST RED LIGHT) puts the first car to leave at a tactical disadvantage?

I was a "quick study" compared to you.

I have explained it seventeen different ways, making it as simple as I possibly could, just for YOU, (since you race a car that is probably the first to leave 90-percent of the time.)

But, you still don't seem to comprehend that the First Red Light system, which was put into place 36 years ago (because they had NO CHOICE at the time, and has been putting the first-to-leave car at a strategic disadvantage ever since,) can be changed to a system that gives an advantage to NO ONE, and do it in such a way that absolutely NO CHANGES will be necessary in the driving protocol, and the change will go almost totally unnoticed by everyone except when a dual red light occurs, and the second car to leave, bulbs worse then the first.

That doesn't happen very often at all... very infrequently, so, it's a change that wil be invisible most of the time, except for the red light for EITHER lane, not showing, until a few milliseconds after the second car has left the line. During those few milliseconds, the 'tree's computer wil compare the two lights and award the win light to the lane with the lesser offense. Just like it does in a breakout situation.

Don't you think a system that gives an advantage to NO ONE is better than a system that favors one segment of the cars in contention, or the other???

If you think that one segment deserves an advantage, tell me why.

I'm all ears...

P.S.: You need a better spell-checker....
P.P.S.: Why are you concerned that I have a lot of spare time; jealous????????

God has nothing to do with coming East.Save your pennies and maybe you'll be able to make the trip.Be sure to save up enough for the return trip.
And finally grow up.Judging by your post you're either drunk or a big baby with very thin skin.
Cheers and a big woof woof to you.

PS: you were still a contributor. You sucked at the stripe. That's my biggest problem, making it close enough to win.I'm working on it.

You and your names for my car....I won't stoop to your level anymore, because I grew up a long time ago. Moreover, I won't get into the GOD element much with you, even though thru such a thing as his blessing my lottery numbers (example) to become a big dollar winner (or thru a sponsorship such as what Tommy Gaynor & Mark Faul, Dan Fletcher, and my buds The Emmons Brothers were blessed with this year), that could go a long way towards getting me the extra funds to not only come out there once, but as often as I'd like. I am saving my (pennies), which is why I only raced twice this year, and congratulations on your ET win, and your qualifying efforts...however they don't intimidate me any more than mine should you!

I put up with a lot, but what I take I can also dish out (and I've had my share of opponents who've found that out). I know when to say when so I'm hardly drunk, and I'm hardly a big baby with very thin skin. What I am is a man that isn't intimidated by you, and will look forward to lining up next to you at any drag strip anywhere in America...as a friend of mine said, "HE WHO LAUGHS LAST, LAUGHS BEST"! Thus, if/when I get the chance to race you, I hope you bring your "A" game to the line, because mine will be there waiting for you and your "NILMERG"...and you best hope and pray that I'm NOT the one laughing, cos I'll be R.O.L.O.L.!!! :)

faster cars an advantage!!! At a Local race it came down to me in my 4cyl Tbird Stocker & a 9 sec full electronics car for the top elim spot. He rolled thru the lights after staging...they told me you win...I told them
Bull****...re-stage us I want to earn this.. we restaged & I won on my merit... I am more proud of that trophy than I am of my wallys. Fix an unfair advantage....not first red ....make it worst red.

Bushwacker,

I second the thoughts of Bill D., but stay away from Noo Joisey...a guy who's a flapjack short of a full-stack lives there...oops I said I wasn't stooping to his level (LOL), I COULDN'T RESIST...I just want to race him now, and I know he won't come out here to play with us D-7 racers (I'd be shocked to see him go to a neutral track because it would be over 300 miles one way!!!), so I guess I'll have to earn my bucks to go out there and settle this with him on the track...I'M READY, so is my Z24 CAVALIER!!!

If you're waiting for the lotto or a magical sponsorship to emerge ,that's pretty pathetic.I could care less what races and championship series anyone has won.I'm racing them on that day,not their rep.And PLEASE lose the cliches. He who,A game, blah, blah, blah, blah, my ***.
So save your pennies and maybe some day you'll make 3 races next season. The purses need the money.

Moderator, can we please lock, or delete this thread? All the rationalizing, explaining, name calling and other banter on this thread won't change anyones opinion (no matter how wrong it is) it seems.

I feel like I'm in a conversation with a coconut.Maybe the rule isn't fair because LIFE itself isn't fair.In a perfect world we wouldn't have a St Judes Hospital where some little ones will never grow up.That's real life, not some bull**** red light rule.
Wanna do something useful?Go volunteer for something, anything and give your fingers a rest.
And before you ask,I do all I can for the military, past and present.Every mailing I get from the Paralyzed Vets and the DAV and others gets a contribution.
I'm done, you will carry this crusade till the next apple falls off the tree and ignites another bomb in your head.
