hey wade the last i heard the stokes car is in a museum on the east coast some where,and the other one was stolen i seen an advertisement in the back of national dragster about7-8 years ago.tha twas a beautiful supestock corvette and the stokes car spoke for itself.

Back in 85' or so, Jerry Stein offered me a complete original 64' Hemi Plymouth, all Aluminum, doors and all. with a disassembled race Hemi plus a Diamond Max mani for 8,500. I was making great money at the time as an owner op trucker and could have taken it home but I already owned a 64 Dodge Aluminum nose with the lightweight bumper and had a nice 64 330 body lined up for 100 bucks. An old friend had a complete race Hemi so I figured I'd pass on the deal. BIGGEST MISTAKE of my life, who knew. I still want this car but a good friend of mine owns it now and nothing shy of a nuclear bomb could ever separate it from him, Paul.

That's the one, it had an automatic trans and no decals when I saw it.

I don't know who built the car, Ron did drive the car in the late 70's.

That Jenkins car is my favorite of all the SS/AA cars.My understanding is that was the last car Tom Stratton painted.
