The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series is having a triple header week. Divisions 3, 5 and 6 are part of the triple header week. Not to be over looked, the NHRA Southern Nationals at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA is have their 35 annual race giving us one of the busiest weekends on the NHRA tour.

Division 3, Land of the Winners are running their second points meet of the year. Hosted by the Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH. Its a favorite among the div 3 crowd and brings just as many as fans as the NHRA National events do.

In division 5, the High and Mighty West Central Division is being held at SRCA Dragstrip, Thunder at the Plains in Great Bend, KS. Its d5’s first points meet of the year and it could have not happen sooner.

Division 6 North West, Land of the Leaders is also having their first points meet of the year. Firebird Raceway in Eagle, ID hosts their 45 points meet, one of the longest running points meet in NHRA’s 7 contesting division.

Four races on the NHRA tour this week give racers and fans alike a place to race and enjoy the racing all across the country. Try to get out there and support your local racers and tracks, they are the backbone of the sport and not only give a great show on the track, but a great car show in the pits.
