Division 4 claimed the JEGS Allstars championship for the second consecutive year. Drivers from Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Arkansas make up the South Central Division and battled for the top spot against main competitors of Divisions 1, 2, and 3. Competition was fierce at the 22nd annual Route 66 NHRA Nationals in Chicago, Illinois. Weather remained in the high 70s with relatively low humidity throughout the weekend, making almost perfect racing weather.
