Default Vega front end parts

I just acquired a nicely built Vega [1972] it has the original 1972 front suspension. The build up is very good, lots of small details, very well designed chassis. It was built in the mid 1990's and has been stored for years, never raced much. Much to my surprise, the front end parts are not readily available.

Do we know of a front suspension source for these parts? Specifically, upper and lower ball joints. Energy systems has the control arm bushings and I can manage the other items by careful substitution.

Put some pictures up of your build, we all would enjoy it. Claude Ruel

Larry, there are a few websites for the H-body GM cars (Vega, Monze, etc.) Here's one of them:

http://www.v8monza.com/

Check out the links on the above site or do a search online and you should be able to find some leads on where to get what you need.

I have a 72 with stock spindles, aje tubular control arms, and qa1 coil overs. There were no small uppers available at the time except from rare parts. These were new copies of the factory parts.

The lower ball joints are still available new. Summit sells them. The uppers are somewhat tough to find but there are some new listed on ebay.
