Default Automatic Shifter Options

What are the cool 3-speed automatic shifter options? I have the Hurst pistol grip right now. It looks cool but I don't want to think about squeezing the lever to get it into third gear, and I don't have the auto 1-2. Thoughts? Thanks!

Most of our cars use the old B & M Pro Sticks = Nearly unbreakable and
foolproof! Some use Turbo Action shifters. Everything is 40 year old designs.
I wish I had a couple more of them!

No auto 1/2 in any of our stockers or my Superstockers!

Jon Jr. has a CO2 tank in his Superstock =It is legal in it!

Other than full air or electric in SS, not really a lot. What pattern do you have forward (push to shift) or reverse (pull to shift)? That third gear release is important. It keeps you from hitting 3rd on your first shift. I have a Hurst Quarter Stick reverse on my C4 and the high gear release was awkward for me, too. I used scrap aluminum to build an angled riser to mount it on. The pull to third is more up than back with the shifter winding up only slightly angled back.

I am a big fan of the Turbo Action shifter. I have them in all of my cars. Easy to use and reliable.

I made steel tubing and plate brackets to elevate the shifters
in all my cars to get them closer to the steering wheel.

I haven't had any experience with any other shifters but I like my PPP ( Precision Performance Products) shifter for my C4.

Turbo Action Cheetah shifter without a doubt. Just a no-nonsense, one-hand operated shifter.

Had used them for 3 decades when all of a sudden I forgot how and started having all kinds of problem doing the shifts in the right manner(1-3,got stuck in the gate etc.) and after loosing 2 races because of it 7-8 years ago I decided it was time to get that awesome looking PPP stuff and at the same time upgrade the valve body to include the clean neutral option, and I have never looked back since !
