318 efi dakota
Just came across a nice Dakota 318/514 trans and 8 1/4 rear. I have no experience with efi. 318/220/250 looks like a good combo. What do I need to know about getting performance from the efi set up? THX

Re: 318 efi dakota
Is NHRA factor 250HP?
If so that is pretty high for a 318! Our Aspen 318 Four Barrel is 230 = OK but not Great

Re: 318 efi dakota
250hp is correct. Cam duration is limited with flat top pistons

Re: 318 efi dakota
Bruce Flodin here in div 6 has ran an injected Dakota with both the 318 and the V6 with good results. I'm not sure if Bruce is on this forum or not but he would be a good one to talk to.
