Re: Joseph Teuton that is one sweet viper
We looked at that, but then the DP's came along and I need to shuck a couple cars. We kept the car street legal, ac etc because of that. And I got a GT/CA Cuda 440 that's a good car. That car with a 5 speed would be tough. These Viper motors are not even close to maxed out. But they are unique.

Nice to see the Viper on the Strip again!
Is that engine built to NHRA SS Specs or? |

Re: Joseph Teuton that is one sweet viper
That's the first thing I thought of. After squeezing myself into a street Viper I can only imagine how tight it would be in there with a full cage installed, and I'm just average sized (6 ft. and 185lbs).

Re: Joseph Teuton that is one sweet viper
A friend of mine threw me the keys to his 450 HP Viper GTS today. First time I've even been in one. I was pleasantly surprised at the smoothness of it all. Not what I expected. Got on the freeway on ramp at 110 MPH, let off to about 80 and stood on it in 4th to about 125 MPH. Made the next exit. This is 1 mile apart.
Incredible. No vibrations, no death grip on the wheel. And he told me you can buy used ones in nice condition all day long for about $35K. Unreal... Now if I can get my other buddy with his Z06 to do the same..

Re: Joseph Teuton that is one sweet viper
That's really cool! Is that the exhaust the car will race with?
