Vic IS a "class act." And, the guy can drive...

He won Stock Eliminator at the '84 Winternationals driving Len Schneider's C/SA '69 Mustang 428 CJ.

Len had built a new GT/BA Thunderbird, and was busy driving it. He asked Vic to drive the 'stang.

Even though Vic had never even sat in the Mustang before, he said "yes."... and won the race!!! LOL!

Sorry to hear he had problems at Topeka.

Unhappy Re: vic hobbs DQ

I talked to Lori earlier today, to find out that thanks to their having family out that way to visit, that it wasn't a total loss of time and money...although it still is a bummer (I.M.H.O.) .

I too wish that he could've gotten another chance to correct his first run, because it's the pits that they logged over 4000 miles (round trip) to include a race that truly wasn't such for them....
