Default Columbus Buckeye Stock SS race

Just got back from the race and all I can say is if you weren't there you really missed a good time. 45 cars showed up and there was some really good racing going on. We were thanked more times than I can remember for showing up, Nitro joe and the Ross family ran this race very well by keeping everyone informed as to when we were supposed to make our runs, how they were going to ladder us ect. And I'd like to thank the folks at Nat. Trails for going out and grooming the track each time before we ran they really made us feel like we were welcomed and they appeciated us being there. So for anyone who missed it PLEASE try and make it to their races , you'll have fun race against some of the nicest and finest racers around and feel like "your'e the show" we really had fun.Joe P.S.Thanks Chuck for handing me my *****.

I agree. I had a great time there, but only as a spectator. Anyone who didn't go, missed out on a great event. I know talking to Zack, that even he was happy as to how many racers showed up. Thanks to all for the great racing and hope someday to get my Starfire out there with you.

What a nice job by Nitro Joe and the Ross family. The starting line was great, they prepped it before we ran each time. It was real nice to see that type of car count. Also a tip of the hat to the Baker Bros. for kicking in some extra cash. I think a good time was had by all that were there. John

Great race, lots of close races. Everyone was on their game. Great job NTR for keeping the track well preped. Congrates to Zack Ross for winning and Jim Nichols runner up. Thanks Baker Bros. for throwing money in the hat. Joe you killed me on the tree, a real close one at the finish. Hope to see all at the next Buckeye Stock/SuperStock combo race ...

Hey gang, I posted the full round by round action on the Buckeye Stock/Super Stock series site here on Class racer.
I really appreciate everybody coming to race our first event, hope everyone had a good time and hope the rest of the races work as good, hey how about the old fashion "Chip draw" for the ladder?

It's under Chuck Beach's post "Columbus results"

Thanks to all of the competitors that came out to race the event this past weekend. Great job by the Ross family, Nitro Joe, and everyone for a great show. I love watching the Stock and Super Stock racers get after it and bring the best out of each other on the track.

Continued success throughout the rest of the season in the series and wherever you race this year. Looking forward already to the October 3rd return of the Buckeye Stock/Super Stock series to NTR.

Way to go Zach, Jim, and Bob........3 Mopar stockers in the final 3!! Looks like there was some good racing going on. Sorry that we couldn't make it. Hopefully we will be at Pacemakers in July for the 2nd event.

Glad it was a success.
