Wheel Spacers
I was mocking up our new double beadlock wheels today. I ran into an issue of the rebound adjuster knob hitting the beadlock bolt heads. These are AFCO double adjustable shocks mounted in the factory locations. I have clearance if I remove the knob but wish to have it on.
I'm debating on using Baer Brakes wheel spacers .250 thick. I'm not big on using spacers. Plus, I'm running 5/8" studs & would have to drill the stud holes to the proper dia. Anybody have any ideas or different solutions to this issue? |

Re: Wheel Spacers
The Baer Brakes spacers were billet also.
Below is what Billet Specialties states about their spacer. "Installation may require longer wheel studs. Fits wheel sizes 15 x 3.5 through 15 x10 in. Not for use with 5/8 in. race-type studs." |

Re: Wheel Spacers
Can't you run those shocks upside down? Would that give you the clearance you need?

Re: Wheel Spacers
We received the TBM wheel spacers today, 2 pairs. My mistake when I placed the order!
I might return the other set & get a pair of .125 thick. I have to take some measurements to see if the thinner ones will work. The spacers solve the problem of the shock adjustment shaft hitting on the beadlock ring bolt heads. I still don't have the room to run the adjuster knob on the shafts. |
