Got an odd request today
Hey guys, I got a piece of mail today from someone in New Jersey, had all his information on it and my address was hand written. I have no idea how this guy got my address but the letter stated his name, address, and well wishes for my racing career anyway, not much there except that he asked if I would send him an autograph. I thought this to be very odd and was wondering could it be any kind of scam, if he already has my address what harm would a signature on a photograph be ? just wondering? and your thoughts please

Re: Got an odd request today
Years ago in my super-gas car a couple of kids came up to me in the staging lanes and asked for my autograph. I don't know if I made their day but they made mine
Use a wide tip marker on a photo if your concerned about signing something.

Re: Got an odd request today
I did just that! Thanks for the replies, really seems kind of odd to get a letter like that but I do hope it’s legit. Not like someone coming around at a race collecting hero cards and autographs, who writes letter’s anymore? The address was hand written but the letter was typed. It’s also funny i really don’t have any real pics In this digital age. Found one someone gave me a while back. Hope he likes it.
