Re: 1974 Wcs Points for div1 -7
Dale we are also still peddlingtoday. I can’t “stand up” on the peddles like I use to back then but usually keep itpointed in the right direction.
Also Ralph Van P from 6 is still getting it done, and thenthere is Cal Method who is hitting it as hard as he did back then. Harmon & Parsons SS/O 6565 |

Re: 1974 Wcs Points for div1 -7
We're in div 4. That next year('75), we saw some of those guys run.
These pics were all taken at a points race near Jackson, MS. Dave Botkin drove the little Pinto. R.T. Barrett drove a B/SA Cuda, and in '75, Jack Mullins had switched over to his big Pontiac wagon, which won the Sports Nats & US Nats. He beat Judy Lilly in the US Nats final. TJ, my girlfriend, had won her first 6 races in a row, in early '75, between 2 different local tracks. Then R.T. showed up at the Forest Hill track, & put her out. But hey, our car was low buck, & it was my 1st Stocker build. His Cuda was a serious Stocker. So, we didn't feel as bad. We got to know Dave Botkin fairly well, & still talk on a race track FB page. |
