2000 Honda odessey front engine mount
Does anyone know how long it should take to remove and replace a front (next to the radiator) engine mount on a 2000 Honda odessey van? I ask because I feel I might have been cheated by my local dealer.

Re: 2000 Honda odessey front engine mount
Engine or transmission mount failure is a pretty common problem with ALL Odysseys from 1999-2007 or so fail anywhere from 40000-100,000 miles LEAKING----they are a pain in the *** to repair the rear is pretty easy takes about an hour the front one is a bit more complicated takes a coupla hours at least some mecs supposedly can do one in a hour -1 1/2 but I do not believe it----if ya can get it up on a lift much easier than doing it on your back in the driveway---front mount retails for about $200-300 ya can buy one online for about $90-$120----labor flat rate is I think I was quoted 3-4 hours--total quote seems to me was around $700 +++
