What is the advantage
What is the advantage to combining the FI cars back into the same class as the older stockers. I have heard it is a "done deal".
Before they split us I use to think they had a distinct MPH advantage. I think over the years we have brought them into line with HP. I just do not know what the agenda is. Maybe lowering all of the huge winnings class winners get (just kidding)? Plus the AFI cars will be A/SA (by index) and the BFI cars will be C/SA - I guess there will not be any FI cars in B/SA I do not know. Who thought of this and why? Re: What is the advantage
I thought that you & Bernie are our racer reps?????
If you don't know what's going on, then who does????? What is the job of the racer rep????? Is it being a conduit for information between the RACERS (known as labor) and NHRA (known as management)???? Are you our Shop Steward???? Can we come to you with our grievences and you represent labors position to management????? I'm just trying to find out what the rules are so that I can play by them. Bob

Re: What is the advantage
Hey Bob I do not even know how I got picked.
I have volunteered in the past to help out from time to time but know one has ever taken me up on it. Twice Mike told me we were going to meet but we never did. I have know idea what being listed in ND meant. You seem to have more information than I do. No one has ever come to me but if they did I would certainly go to Mike. He and I seem to have a good relationship. Your "union" references are not correct. You have been doing this long enough to know this is more like a .. a... well you know a dynasty with loyal subjects (carefully choosen words). I say drag racing is an addiction for which there is no cure and certainly no rehab. No matter how we get treated and what the consequences are, we come back for more. |
