Default Has Jeff or Cody Lane been caught for cheating at a NHRA eve

Why so much negativity directed at Cody and Jeff Lane? I don't think they have ever been caught for total disregard of NHRA Tech Specs. Anyone that goes fast pushes the envelope on the NHRA Tech Guide. I always run my car 20# heavy even on record runs.

I can't say what I would've done had I run 1.20 under. Never have, but I don't think I would pull the shenanigans that were attempted here. You lose ALL the respect people nationwide had for you. And then other stories surface:

I talked too you and you told Cody too pull the car up. I told you then you dont want too do that. You guys did and 25 minutes later Cody was tossed. In the Dragster a while later I read it was a 'misunderstanding". I dont beleive that is a misunderstanding. I told you what was going too happen before we raced. Thats my 2 cents Put it towards a Rule book or a mirror. Grant Singer
Maybe they don't look in the mirror before bed. Integrity is a great feeling when truly deserved and I am not saying the Lanes are cheaters but I am saying they tarnished the Lane name

I don't think the horsepower adjustment was enough punishment if the accusation is factual.

Go to the NHRA competition page 10/1/18. He was caught with the wrong carb on the Super Stocker. Why didn't he get a year off at that time?? BP

Probably the same reason his DQ from this race was “reversed!”
