RIP Bill Quinn
Div 1 stock racer Bill Quinn passed away this weekend. Bill was 83 years old. I’m glad I got to know Bill before he retired, and I’m the owner of his old car. Bill reminded me of a real life version of Clint Eastwood in the movie Grand Torino. I hope I can turn some win lights on in 2025 in his memory.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of an "Old Friend", Bill took me under his wing many years ago when I first built my Nova. I'm guessing he took pity on me as a struggling Stocker racer. His kindness was deep seeded, once you got to know Bill - you found that he had a Heart of Gold. Yeah, he had a tough exterior, only because of the category we raced in. I spoken with you about our friendship and his being a " Tough as Nails " racer, and Indy Stock Eliminator winner. He will be sorely missed but at least I know his Camaro is in Good Hands. His memory will live on! Respectfully, Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA |

Re: RIP Bill Quinn
Bill taught me alot about getting the most out of what you have, a true stock eliminator racer. RIP Bill

Re: RIP Bill Quinn
I'm very saddened to hear that Bill is no longer with us. I always had the utmost respect for Bill and like others had mentioned, he had a tough shell but once you got through it he would be a lifelong friend. I got my first class win against Bill at the 1988 Summernationals, but the best part was that he offered for myself and buddy Bernie Emling to come over to his pit area and have a beer....which we did. RIP Bill!
