Ring Gap Help
I have a Dart Buick Head engine i was wondering do anybody know what the piston ring gap should be.

That dimension would be based on your bore size, I've always basically follwed the ring Man. recomendations. Joe

Like Joe says, follow the ring man recomendations....but keep in mind they are MINIMUMS... you won't believe how big those gaps can get before you looze power...just make sure your not so close that the rings butt, Instant power loss and damage to cyls and pistons!!!
