Re: No More Automatic Horsepower Factoring
With the suspension of the LODRS and a June 1st return to racing being very optimistic, I thought it was pretty cool that all automatic HP - 1.20 runs made this year have been rescinded.

Re: No More Automatic Horsepower Factoring
They also proposed allowing crate motors, but that was the only thing that people actually complained about.

Re: No More Automatic Horsepower Factoring
I heard that they were going to start a "claimer" program. If you get beat in a heads-up run or in Class Eliminations, you have the option to buy the winners engine for $1,000.

Re: No More Automatic Horsepower Factoring
Knowing Mr. Shaw as well as I do suspect this is one of his favorite days of the year. I also suspect he's already working on his draft for next year.
"Bless his little heart" Thanks Bob I needed something to smile about. Jim |
