I've noticed that everything that Dwight Southerland writes is very well written and demonstrates real knowledge. I used to work for the Secretary of State in Oregon, it IS a big deal.

This is probably the greatest opportunity for the State of Arkansas to mandate 2nd round payout to S/SS racers and trophies to class winners. Many states are taking the opportunity to legislate everything,so....

Thank you all for the kind and flattering words!
Just to clear up any misconceptions or misplaced assumptions, this was not a position I aspired to. I have a long history doing contracts for the Arkansas constitutional offices and the man who was elected to the office of the Secretary of State. He and his chief deputy asked me if I would do this for them, and after much deliberation and prayer I agreed. It's not a political position but more of a business position. So far it's quite a ride!
