Carter AFB's
A neighbor has a pair of carbs, #4305 & #4305S he wants to sell. He thinks they came off a Dodge/Plymouth 273 engine but I have not found them in the guide. Can anybody identify the application for him?
Thanks, Fred |

Re: Carter AFB's
Not sure but my local Mopar nut tells me that they came on 65-67 273 auto trans engines---the S means it has the clean air package whatever that is---Comp 387

Re: Carter AFB's
He went on to say----The S carb is a California emissions carb(clean air package) the other carb is the standard carb for the 273 engine ---that carb was on 273 engines in Valiant/Dart/Barracuda cars with automatic transmissions 1967 model year ONLY--Manual trans car did not use the 4305 carb----the other years had a different model number carb---Comp 387
