Default 1966 Chevy II Idler arm.

Is anyone running this idler on your Chevy II? The wheel stands are hard on the stock one making it loose and sloppy everytime I check it.

I have a stock idler with bearings instead of bushings, and haven't had any problems in the 12 seasons I've had the car done.

I saw that bearing kit and was considering it. Thanks.

James. That's good to hear. I was curious if it would be as strong as the factory arm since itsa welded tube? Must be if you're having good results. With the stock one it constantly needs "snugged" which worried me that I was pulling something out of its socket.

I have taken some of those idler bearing type idler arms off of cars with a lot of miles and they are still good and tight.
