What is the rule on carb spacers in stock? What are they in SS? There is a lot to be found in working on 2 bbl spacers and adapters. I run a 2 bbl in IHRA SS Production. Been working with the Holley 2 bbl's for a long time. I'm sure the 2GC's are different but working with how the air/fuel comes out from the base plate into the manifold can net substantial gains.

Thanks

Tom, do you have any additional info on the 2 bbl. cars you mentioned? I was at Indy 6 or 8 years ago and talked with a guy about a Superstock car that (was I think a 350) ran a 2bbl. Anything that is unusual, thinking out of the box, or what most would call an "odd ball" combo always gets my attention and vote lol, so i was hooked. The owner told me that the car was not as aerodynamic as most ( I think it was a malibu or a late model cutlass body) and was not efficent at the upper MPH, but with the 2 bbl. combo it ran pretty well. Could this be who you were talking about? Thanks, Don Jackson

I am interested in a 2bbl carb and intake for a 69 chevy 350/250hp combo. If anyone has anything let me know.

I ran 2bbl in Stock in late 70's with a 1969 Impala in O/SA, ran a few 13.90's before switching to Qjet. Which ran a 13.17 best at the time.
Did not get into the 12's and running well under the index until buying a Woodroo Engine and in hot Florida weaher.

But WALee(think it was him) ran O/SA in a 69 Malibu Wagon and ran as well as 12.90 with the 2bbl. Seemed to be consistent and won several races.

Still have the 2bbl and Intake manifold and considering O/SA again until a new Roll Bar is added.
