The Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series (TNTSS) produces some of the toughest 10.90 competition on the planet and this weekend, the TNTSS will team up with IHRA’s Nitro Jam for a spectacular weekend of drag racing.

In addition to the regular Nitro Jam sportsman and pro classes, the TNTSS will run its own 10.90 race on Friday July 15 presented by Rosehill Auction House - giving racers two chances at the track and the win - this weekend.

"This is not only a chance to take home the $1000 winner's purse, but also a great opportunity to get some track time for the Nitro Jam classes and to qualify for the race of champions," said Joe Boniferro, the series title sponsor. "We're excited to be a part of this weekend with IHRA. You’re going to see some of the best sportsman racing in the country!"

The TNTSS is well-known for its guaranteed purses, round money from first round, event specialty awards, yearend prize packages and a level of competition second to none. It follows the IHRA Hot Rod rules with two exceptions - no weight minimum and open-bodied, left-hand drive cars welcome - which means most Super Rod cars are eligible as well.

"Of course, every TNTSS race is an opportunity to earn a spot in the prestigious Trailer Shop/ERD Race of Champions coming up on Labor Day weekend," said TNTSS Director Ted Barnes. “After Grand Bend, there are only three more chances to get in – the St Thomas Raceway Park double in August and the Saturday of Labor Day weekend at Cayuga Dragway.”

Gates open at 9am on Friday with TNTSS qualifying sessions set for 4pm and 5pm - eliminations at 6pm.
