MASGA September 13th & 14th @ Numidia Dragway

Well the 2008 Season comes down to this final race at Numidia Dragway September 13th & 14th. Iggie Boicesco holds a 53 point lead on Don Knoblick going into race # 9 & 10. Knoblick goes into this race knowing he needs to improve upon his two 1st round loses if he wants a shot at the championship. Sitting in 3rd place is George Smith and 4th is Pete Luciano who both have an outside chance of claiming the 2008 series title. Entry fee will be $ 70.00 dollars paid to Leanne or Lucky at his trailer per day and $ 30.00 dollars to be paid at the gate per day. Gates will open at 12pm on Saturday the 13th and on 8am Sunday the 14th. We will get 2 time shots both days then placed on a NHRA style ladder running on a .400 pro tree. The winner payout will be $ 1,000.00 based on a 32 car field. Also great news was heard around Cecil County as it was confirmed that George and Uncle Buck will be joining us at Numidia so that means the BBQ will be at the Donhauser's after racing has concluded for the night on Saturday. If anyone is coming from a long distance and wants to park on Friday I think a group of racers are going up and parking Friday night and heading to Knobel's Park right down the street.

****Also as always Numidia track owner Bob Diminio will be having a $ 5,000.00 dollar to win electronic bracket race on both days. Entry fee for that race is $ 150.00 dollars with $ 100.00 buy backs after 1st round and any Super Gas Drivers that are running MASGA and want to double up are more then welcomed to. The entry fee for the bracket race is separate from the MASGA entry fee******

Just an FYI Knoebel's Amusement park is closed on Friday's after Labor Day. So if you were hoping to go up, park the trailer and go to the park that is not going to happen. If you still plan on going up on Friday the gates will be open till around 9pm and they have a street night that night in which according to website you could probally get some test shots in if you wanted too.
