Live from Orlando
Well not quite yet,but I thought I’d try this again. Been a lot of changes for Welch Racing. We lost a motor at Maple Grove last year and just got the new engine done, so with no testing other than in the garage we’re heading to Florida. Going to test at Orlando this weekend and if all goes well we’ll run the div race at Orlando and Gainesville. Let the fun began!

Re: Live from Orlando
Safe travels and good luck with the new motor, great to have you reporting again. FYI there’s a new RV Park in Savannah and it can accommodate long rigs. Little pricey but very conveniently located at exit 94 on I-95 ( same exit as the big updated Harley dealership so that gives you extra incentive to stop). In any case it’s called Creekfire RV Resort. I live off exit 90 if you need anything.

Re: Live from Orlando
Thanks Jim, we’ve been stopping at the KOA at exit 1 for some years, easy in and out and they have some long sights available. See ya in Orlando

Re: Live from Orlando
Good Luck Robbie, kick some butt!!! Hopefully see you at a few races in 2018....Keith Needs a friend....lol
Rob K. Really would love for Robbie and all of the .90 Guys & Gals to do some "Live From" this year from any events they go too. So if you hit a race and have good Cell Service start a Thread. We might not get up to the Ranks of the Stock/SS guys but, its worth a shot. Last edited by BKSG1198; 02-14-2018 at 02:52 PM. |

Re: Live from Orlando
Thanks Dave and Rob, yea I'm sure we'll be hitting a couple more of your races. Rob I agree with the live from reports. It's interesting to see the different tracks and cars.

Hey Robbie, glad to see you're at it again buddy! Good luck with the new motor I hope everything goes well. I'll catch up to you in Gainesville, don't think I can swing it down to Orlando. See you soon.

Re: Live from Orlando
Ray and James thanks, it feels great being back down here with my racing bud's. The new engine seems to be running well. We ran the TnT Friday and the bracket race yesterday I lost first round but all's good. There's another TnT today and a swap meet I think, so we're going to put some more laps on the engine and make some adjustments. Here's some photos from the weekend.
I love something different. |

Re: Live from Orlando
We'll we made it thru the weekend the car ran well, not quite as fast as I'd liked (are they ever?) but it ran good. We had to move to the stacking area in the field but all's good and there's a good number of rigs here already. I think the plan is to be let back in the track Thursday. Make sure everyone knows this is a Friday and Saturday race my neighbor didn't know. So it's off to do the tourist stuff today photos to come.
