We lost our beloved friend, Ernie, early this morning. He will be greatly missed at the track. God's speed, Ernie.

RIP Ernie . A huge loss not just to the .90 community where he was best known but to all of us who were touched by his friendship and his amazing generosity.

Re: R.I.P. Ernie Kendall
Sorry to hear this news. Ernie was always a pleasure to race with and talk to. We raced a few times and it was always fun racing him. RIP Ernie...

Re: R.I.P. Ernie Kendall
RIP Ernie and condolences to his family & friends. I know how much he meant to You Frank & The Moeser Family and all the racers in D1 racers around the Northeast. He fought that nasty disease for 15 years and really gave it a good fight. He showed that you could go 8.90 @ 212mph with a Blower set-up and go rounds at that.
I guess my best memory was watching the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals in Ernie's Motorhome at Maple Grove with the Flyers & Black hawks with Kristen Moeser. I barely knew Ernie but he welcomed me into the place like he had known me for years...even though we had to teach him a few things about hockey that day...lol. You will be missed and thanks for all the support you gave the Top programs over the years. Rob Keister 1198 SG |

Re: R.I.P. Ernie Kendall
RIP Ernie...awesome guy and always thought that dragster was cool in SC...
One of the best memories I have of racing was when we went down to Darlington for the Division 2 race in 2002. I was chasing a top 5 spot in the division and got waxed 2nd round, but Ernie took the dragster and went all the way to the semifinals. Never forget John Michaels handling the delay box and throttle stop settings while I helped ice the trans and converter and fuel the car...all while Ernie thought it was the greatest day ever and just talked to everyone and laughed between rounds... Godspeed buddy
