Re: Horsepower on tuesday
What a joke. Here is one fact that is about this race. Div director is not there or our head tech guy. Mike rice is running this race. So if you want to run fast and not get hp come to div 6. Toss your weight out at the end of the track. NHRA has lost alot of respect from its customers over this in div 6. There should have been hp given, tear down and a time out but nothing. I can already hear all the excuses by both parties. Very simular at final race of last year get caught with to big of carb at CIC race and nothing happens. This is embarrassing.

Re: Horsepower on tuesday
If a racer runs well, say 1.202 under, and he doesn't want to get penalized, can he just pass the scales by, then earning a DQ for that run?

Re: Horsepower on tuesday
You are subject to disqualification from the event, not just the run. The way the rule reads (paraphrazing) “all qualified runs are subject to post race inspections (scales, fuels, etc.). Failure to do so can result in disqualification from the event.”

Re: Horsepower on tuesday
These guys have hooked up with Chevrolet and a group of engineers to bring a 750 hp electric car into Stock Eliminator. They apparently aren't worried about how the game is played as long as it works for them.
