Side bar question
Can the side bar be bent or does it have to be straight? I thought it was in the rule book but after reading, it doesn't say. So maybe I heard it from a tech Inspector instead?

Re: Side bar question
Coley,
it can be bent to accommodate arm rest or door panel hardware. In addition, many racers use a swing out design. |

Re: Side bar question
For a roll bar, yes. Mine is. The primary rule is that it passes somewhere between your elbow and shoulder while sitting in the vehicle.

Re: Side bar question
Sounds good, I have a 73 Barracuda that needs the bar but would be right in the door handle if straight. Can it be more than one bend? 2 in fact.
