This is their way of punishing you for not wasting 3-4 days of your life being miserable.

Guys there was no need to waste 3-4 days of your life. Ronzello and I showed up Friday at 9am got our one hit looked at the weather and headed for home at 4PM. and we will still get to race there in Aug. less then one day wasted.

For those of you that did not make the trip to Indy this weekend and want to test /race before Norwalk pts next month.
There is a STK/SS combo at martin MI next weekend on Saturday. time trials at 10am saturday first round around 2pm. $1000 to win and the weather looks good right now.

.
Haha, yeah we left early Saturday morning. But what you failed to mention is the fact that we were on pins and needles that they would run 1 round of stock and we would be first round no shows.

We rolled the dice and won...... this time.

What would be the harm to anyone for opening the race to new entries, other than taking in more money?

What Mike Fuller said, this is a way of NHRA punishing you for not entering & sitting around in the rain for 3-4 days. You cost NHRA money because you did not enter & your $160 entry fee would have been earning them interest for the next 3 or 4 months. NHRA = no common sense, should have postponed the race but instead got a record LOW number of entries for the Indy pts. race. This may be good for the few that are entered but not so good for the racers that have to make the long haul to National Trails, or have to take more time off to race.

I thought the postponed race was going to be run in front of the 2nd points meet at Indy in August. I haven't seen where they moved it to National Trail but I could be wrong.

You are correct, I was thinking the only pts meet in August was trails & BG.
