Default 1978 Regal Turbo

Just looked at the classification guide and noticed the 1978 Regal Turbo took a big hit from being a U/SA to a P/SA car. That's a big difference. The "gift" is gone on this one I guess.

Two different combos. 2 BBL and 4 BBL.

I did not know about the Ken Culver car. Is that the former Neil Smedley and Vic Hobbs car?

This occurred back in the mid-eighties.

A Jim Deter from Indiana took his 78 turbo Regal (car was blue) to the Springnationals in U/SA, and qualified number 1 at about 1.5 seconds under. (That far under back then was unheard of.)

It was immediately hit and he ended up in Q.
