Driveing schools?
My daughter has 1 year left in junior dragsters .We are looking at getting into a door car, stocker type. We will start in the 12.90 range and work up to a 11.50 combo in the same season. In the end a 10 sec stocker would be the ideal situation. Would it be a good idea to go to a driving school. What ones are available and what do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.

If it were me, I'd be talking to James "Jimmy the Shoe" Harrington. Also, Bruce Deveau has his "The Racer's Mind" program, I went to his seminar last year that the PRI Show, it was impressive, to say the least.

Re: Driveing schools?
If she's got allot of seat time in the dragster, I don't think she'd need a school. It's drag racing not road racing or circle track. Just stab, shift, and steer.
Just put her in a proven car and let her loose. I went from a street buick GN runing mid 9's in the eight to high 6.80's in a then C/SA stocker (thanks again Mom and Dad!) and did ok. |

If your dead set on sending her to school, Alan is right...Harrington would be the best choice....(have we ever agreed on anything Alan?)
