it is standard 265 bore , it was a pick up engine and they used the same block for 265's just bored to 265 not 283, we have sonic tested it and it will bore to 283 just fine !

I dont have any 997's left, but the block would work great for you ! I do have a set of 520 T heads , can you use them ?

I'm looking for a good set of 186's or 462's that haven't had a valve job done on them or anything else. Will be used on stock eliminator motor.

the only 462, 186's i have lefthave had very mild port work done ,
